Our Story

We are a family of four neurodivergent individuals. What began as a simple dream—to build a quiet life on a homestead and share our days with animals of all shapes and sizes—has grown into something far more beautiful than we ever imagined.
It started with three dogs, four cats, and five ducks. Now, our homestead is home to many more, each one adding to the rhythm and gentle magic of our days.
Our dream is to create a homestead sanctuary where other neurodivergent people can come and experience the calm and stillness of nature that surrounds us. A place to slow down. To breathe. To sit beneath the trees with a book, or rest beside the ducks as they waddle and chatter nearby. A place to laugh while playing with the goats, and to learn grounding and centering through the gentle, powerful presence of our horses—receiving the gifts they so naturally offer.
As our homestead has grown, so too has our desire to share it in meaningful, tangible ways. We now offer fresh eggs, ducklings, and hatching eggs—raised with care, intention, and deep respect for the animals who are part of our homestead. You can find us at the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market or visit us from home, where everything we share comes directly from the heart of our homestead.
We are so grateful to share our story, our dream, and our growth with you—and to welcome others into this peaceful homestead space we are building together.

Sharing Life, Animals, and Quiet Connection

Our mission is to create a calm, welcoming, and inclusive space where neurodivergent individuals and families can connect with animals, nature, and themselves. Through quiet observation, gentle interaction, and animal-led experiences, we aim to offer opportunities for grounding, regulation, learning, and rest—without pressure, expectation, or judgment.
